Encore Series AEDs are completely refurbished using our proprietary process developed over 20 years of selling AEDs. The Lifepak Express has an easy-to-read and operate lid that turns on the AED and begins to give verbal instructions. All Lifepak AEDs feature escalating energy, up to 360 joules, the highest in the industry. The Express increases shocks in increments if lower-energy shocks prove ineffective. The Express is a semi-automatic AED, which means there is a button that is pushed to deliver the shock.
